A Delhi wedding brings relatives from six different cities on six different trains. If they are booked into four small hotels across the city, someone spends the whole week arranging cars and phoning people about timings.

Hotel Sun International in Paharganj can hold up to 200 guests in one property from ₹400 per head per night for the room, with our own kitchen and a dining hall seating 100 at a time. Everyone gets ready in the same building and leaves for the venue together.

Rooms for every kind of relative We have rooms for 2, 3 and 4 guests, so families take family rooms, cousins share triples, and elderly relatives or couples get their own double room. All rooms are air-conditioned with a TV and attached washroom. Children under 8 stay free when sharing an existing bed. There is a lift, which makes a real difference for older guests.

Meals between functions Wedding days run long and unpredictably. Our kitchen works to the timings you give us, whether that's an early breakfast before the haldi or a late meal after the reception. The dining hall seats 100 at a time, so a full 200-guest family group eats in two sittings — many families use this naturally, with one sitting for those leaving early for the venue and one for the rest. Meals are priced separately from the room rate, per head, so share your plan when you enquire. Room service is available 24 hours.

Wedding shopping on your doorstep Chandni Chowk, one of India's best-known wedding shopping markets, is about 2.5 km away. Karol Bagh is about 3 km, Sadar Bazaar is nearby, and Paharganj Main Bazaar is within walking distance. Relatives arriving a day or two early can get their shopping done without crossing the city.

Arrivals from any city Guests coming by train reach the hotel in about five minutes on foot from New Delhi Railway Station. For those arriving at odd hours, our reception is staffed 24x7 and we can arrange airport pickup through our travel counter. Early check-in from 10 AM and late check-out until 2 PM are available at extra cost, subject to availability, and luggage storage is available on the day of departure. If a guest overstays check-out by under three hours, half-day rent applies; beyond three hours, full-day rent applies.

Booking advice Delhi's wedding season overlaps with the busy October–March travel period, so block your rooms 4–6 weeks ahead. Give us a rough rooming list before arrival so check-in for 200 people doesn't take all afternoon, and appoint one family member as the single point of contact with the hotel. Please note the booking amount is non-refundable, so confirm your numbers before paying.
